It is a consolidation of 3 parts, "The Lead", "The Body" and "The Tail". 

NEWS STORY -1

An elderly construction worker was accused of killing his ailing wife by dumping her in a filled water of an apparent near Thalaghattapura in Bangalore city. On 4th December, when his son and daughter were out working, the accused Shankarappa (60) allegedly dragged his paralyzed wife Shivamma (50) out of their house and threw her into the sump which was full of water and closed the lid. Unable to move or call out for help Shivamma drowned. She was suffering from paralysis and had been bedridden for a couple of years. The accused was frustrated with her deteriorating health and allegedly wanted to get rid of her. Upon returning home and noticing that his mother was missing, the son inquired his father who claimed to know nothing about it. Shankarappa then left home and has been on the run since. The case has been registered at the Thalaghattapura police station. The police are optimistic about finding Shankarappa as the investigation is underway. 

News Story- 2

Jyothi a women in her 30's, set her two young daughters aged 6 and 8 on fire and tried to kill herself at Anjandri Hills near Mulbagal in Kolar district on 7th December. The 6 year old succumbed to burns and died but Jyothi and the 8 year old survived. Jyothi was allegedly mentally disturbed after her husband left her and decided to take the children's and her life by dousing them in petrol and them them ablaze. By the time the police arrived, the younger kid had passed, but the older sibling was rushed to the hospital in the arms of Mulbagal police sub-inspector Manjunath. He was guick to think and did not wait for the ambulance to arrive. The girl is out of danger and the women has been taken into police custardy. Though this kind of incident is not new but the people are taken by surprise on how the kids own mother could pertake in such a barbaric act.
