Her blissful oblivion
As she sat there
Wigling her toes in the warm sand,
Watching the sunset
She was content
For this was her first time, not running away. Not running away from the monsters
that lurked outside that placid moment.
She was content
She wasn't afraid, for she thought she knew ,
No mishap was in the offing
So, blissfully unaware she smiled
She was content
Oh Naive girl, little did she know what was in store for her
But I was not going to shake her out of her
momentary bliss
For she was content
